BismiLLah…

Kenal dengan tajuk buku ini? Undang-undang dalam Perubatan (Canon of Medicine, Qanun fi-Ttib)

Moga-moga Allah permudahkan.

BismiLLah…

Allah said in the Quran, (Chapter 2, verse 258)

“Have you noted the one who argued with Abraham about his Lord, though GOD had given him kingship? Abraham said, “My Lord grants life and death.” He said, “I grant life and death.” Abraham said, “GOD brings the sun from the east, can you bring it from the west?” The disbeliever was stumped. GOD does not guide the wicked.”

Allah mentioned about the debate between Nabi Ibrahim (‘alayhissalam) with the tyrant king, King Namrud bin Kawan bin Kaush bin Sam bin Nuh, who claimed himself as a divine power. So Sayyidina Ibrahim turned on him his own arguments to bring to light his deep ignorance and the worthlessness of his argument.

When Sayyidina Ibrahim came out from fire (which Namrud used to burn him alive), he invited the king to admit the oneness of Allah, he argued that he was also able to gives lives and causes death. He summoned two men who had been sentenced to death, of which he forgave one of them and killed the other. Sayyidina Ibrahim did not continue with the argument, as what he meant with My Lord grants Life and Death” was, It is his Lord who created the universe and life from nothingness, and death and extinction.

Therefore, he continued with other argument. He pointed out to Namrud that Allah brings the Sun from the east, and asked him to show if he could bring it from the West. Namrud was confounded.

Zayd bin Aslam has also said that Allah sent down an angel to this oppressor king to command him to believe, but he refused to believe. The angel invited him a second and a third time, but he still refused each time. So the angel said, “You call your crowds and I will call mine.”

Namrud gathered his armies and forces at the time of sunrise but Allah sent him armies of mosquitoes. The mosquitoes were so many that the Sun was eclipsed by their numbers. They overpowered Namrud and his forces, sucking their blood. One of the mosquitoes got into the nostril of the tyrant king and sytayed there for 400 years. All this time he used to strike his head with a hammer until Allah has caused him to die. This was how Allah punished the non-believers.

Na’uzubiLLah. O Allah, we seek refugee in You, the Almighty.

BismiLLah…

Sudah lama tidak menulis. Gerak jari-jemari sudah tidak selancar dulu. Idea tidak mahu lagi turun seperti hujan.

Minggu lalu, kami melawat Taman Botani Pulau Pinang.

(Credits to Mr. Photographer)

Alangkah hebat tentera Allah!’

Ya, agar kita sentiasa beringat-ingat.
